It’s not that you don’t have things to wear in your closet

Here’s an easy outfit formula to keep in mind to create a winning outfit every time!
- Basic piece– These are pieces that will ground your outfit. Basic pieces. Think dark denim, a white button down shirt, black pants, plain top. Like this Amazon leather leggings and this white shirt from Mango, or denim. In the image below, the denim is the basic piece
2. An interest piece: Just as the name suggests, there is something interesting about this piece. Some type of interesting detail. It could be colour, ruffless, the print, something that draws your attention. See the sleeves on this top, this print of the skirt and this texture.

So, you could stop here. You’d be be fine to go out. You’d be OK. However, we aren’t doing OK…we are upgrading our style, and feeling next-level. So here we go to the 3rd step…
3. The Completor piece. This piece ties your entire look together and just makes your outfit next level. It could be a blazer, vest, or your accessories. Think about belts, hats and scarves etc.
This third piece is the money!
Thick bottom loafers are very on trend now. Obi belts always add so much, this designer one is a showstopper, and blazers are worth their weight in gold. Here’s another one.
Here I’m wearing a few “third pieces”. I’ve added a belt and also my Fedora.
Look at all three pictures and you’ll see the three elements that create an upgraded outfit.
If it’s even earrings, think about adding that third piece.
